Is there a minimum number of drivers for an on-site visit?

Yes, we prefer a minimum of 5 or more drivers

What should drivers bring to their DOT exam?

Drivers should bring:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • List of medications
  • Glasses or contact lenses (if used for driving)
  • Hearing aids (if used)
  • Medical records for chronic conditions (if applicable)
  • Recent lab results if required for diabetes or other conditions
  • CPAP compliance report if they use CPAP for sleep apnea. Phone app record is ok as long as it clearly delineates the dates the CPAP was used for.
  • If a driver has complicated medical conditions clearance letters may be required.
Can you perform exams for drivers with medical conditions?

Yes — many drivers with controlled medical conditions can still qualify. DOT certification depends on FMCSA guidelines and medical stability.

Do you perform non-CDL DOT exams?

We recommend scheduling fleet exam days 1–3 weeks in advance when possible. We can sometimes accommodate faster scheduling depending on availability and location.

Can you handle large fleet exam days?

Yes. We can schedule larger driver groups and coordinated exam blocks. For large fleets, we recommend advance planning to maximize efficiency and minimize driver downtime.

How do employers schedule an on-site exam day?
